Outstanding! This was my third accommodation on the South West Coastal path and by far the best. A warm welcome, all the more appreciated by the fact they’d called me en route to book me in for dinner as they were getting full. How thoughtful? The room had a beautiful view, comfy with a luscious bath for my aching knees. Most of all the glorious food. Fish and chips unlike any I’ve experienced, the whole meal was a treat. Thank you Blue Ball Inn, cannot recommend them highly enough.

It's just an amazing place on the SW coast path. I recommend to visit it by anyone who is walking the path, even for a drink. The food is outstanding. We've had the best dinner there from the whole of our journey.

A wonderful location on the main road into Lynmouth with open land to walk our dog behind the church opposite (views to die for!). Great area for walkers on the edge of Exmoor and the Inn was comfortable and popular (full during our stay). Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant was busy during the evening which is always a good sign of quality and value. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay as did our dog Flora!

Location was fantastic, located on the hill top 850' above the sea, car parking was very handy opposite the inn. Room was clean nice size and furniture was a nice size for the room, linen both bedding nice thread count and towels big and fluffy. We arrived on a Sunday and had Sunday roast for lunch and fish and chips for dinner. A Saxon church is located about 200' from the inn and has grave markers dating back to 1664, the town of Lynmouth is down a very steep hill (12%) with a great history and views.
