Such a great welcome from Tracey and her team. We were visiting the Cotswolds Distillery and she arranged a lift there and back. The locals are very welcoming. I would absolutely recommend The George to anyone wanting a break in the north of the Cotswolds.

Fantastic stay here. From the moment we arrived, which was quite late in the evening, we were made to feel really welcome. Jonathan went completely out of his way to help us settle in and helped get us a table for dinner at short notice. Food was amazing both at dinner and breakfast. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming. Beds were really comfy too and the rooms have been decorated to a high standard.

The staff were extreamly friendly and very attentive! We understood they were dog friendly but this exceeded our expectations. There were lovely dog towels, bowls and even throw for the bed for the dogs. The breakfast was included in our booking and was delicious, plenty of choice as well as being able to have a starter and main for breakfast!! We also ate our dinner there and this was also very wonderful. 10/10 and would definitely stay again!

Red Lion Inn really made an impression on me. It was so incredibly cozy--my room was a tiny attic room, and yet I had everything I needed, and enjoyed snuggling up there. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast and dinners even more, the latter when it got nice and lively at night by the fire. This place is everything you want an English countryside inn to be.

Exceptional service at the Red Lion Inn. Food amazing, room comfortable and service friendly. We had everything we needed and more for a relaxing couple of days in the Cotswolds. The best part was being able to take our dog with us wherever we went. He absolutely loved the attention and treats! We were made to feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble.
