We were given a warm welcome and the lady at reception kindly took our luggage for us as we were taken to our room. The dinner was fine, with a good range of choices, though the two very helpful ladies working at the bar and also serving food at the tables were very hard pressed on a busy evening. Breakfast choices were good though the one lady tending to busy tables and serving good food was rather overstretched but very courteous. All in all v good.

Nice comfortable room with plenty of space. Very helpful staff who were quick to respond when I had a problem with the shower tap being very stiff. Dinner at the hotel was good value. Cooked breakfast included. Located very near the castle and the town centre.
