The staff at the hotel/pub were incredibly welcoming and friendly. It was in a great location as we were driving onto North Wales so provided a great half way point. Was only a short 10 minute drive to Hereford town but it was nice to stay in the country side and enjoy the peace and quiet. The room was a great size for us and breakfast was just what was needed the next day.

We loved this place, A nice old looking pub with modern facilities. The room was spacious and clean with a little fridge. The staff were super friendly and chatty. We had an excellent evening meal, with very well kept real ale, and breakfast was also very good with lots of choice. Would love to return.

I went fishing on the river Wye and this was a perfect place to stay.
The room was a small double fine for me on my own. Clean, warm and comfortable I will definitely stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and more than helpful and went out of there way to please us. The cooked breakfast was very good and was freshly cooked. We along with our friends stayed in the anex which along with the main hotel was in need of a make over. Although these room were compact, for just sleeping in they were comfortable enough
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
It was historic and a good location for breaking our trip during our tour. The staff were extremely pleasant and willing to go the extra mile. Facilities were all we needed for a single night’s stay. We felt welcome in this homely Inn. Parking was plentiful and convenient.
The quiet village location is superb and this is clearly a popular local inn, thought not in the least noisy. I enjoyed an excellent pint later on in the evening, just before the bar closed. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable and I would be pleased to stay again if in the area. The staff I met were obliging and friendly.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They did everything to make our stay perfect!
Full English breakfast was fine and dinner was also good.
The pub had large selection of beers.
Rooms were also good and cool.
Location is very nice and quiet.
Dinner was not available on Sunday (restaurant is closed) and we didn’t expect that; fortunately, a dinner for us was arranged!
When we arrived at the venue I love our room. It had all we needed to make our stay comfortable in a very friendly environment. There is only a few rooms at the Inn but it was all very nice. I had a lamb shank for dinner there which was also very good.
If you are looking for a place to stay with a personal touch and all the facilities for a comfortable stay this is a good alternative.
The owner met us and provided us all the info we needed very friendly and approachable.
We love supporting local businesses. :-)
Staff were really friendly felt very welcoming. Also advised us well on food places for our dinner as they were not serving food due to staff issues, but as we had a car thus was not an issue.
Great location. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast good. Bed linen fresh and clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom clean and modern. Powerful shower.
