The quiet village location is superb and this is clearly a popular local inn, thought not in the least noisy. I enjoyed an excellent pint later on in the evening, just before the bar closed. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable and I would be pleased to stay again if in the area. The staff I met were obliging and friendly.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They did everything to make our stay perfect! Full English breakfast was fine and dinner was also good. The pub had large selection of beers. Rooms were also good and cool. Location is very nice and quiet. Dinner was not available on Sunday (restaurant is closed) and we didn’t expect that; fortunately, a dinner for us was arranged!

When we arrived at the venue I love our room. It had all we needed to make our stay comfortable in a very friendly environment. There is only a few rooms at the Inn but it was all very nice. I had a lamb shank for dinner there which was also very good. If you are looking for a place to stay with a personal touch and all the facilities for a comfortable stay this is a good alternative. The owner met us and provided us all the info we needed very friendly and approachable. We love supporting local businesses. :-)

Staff were really friendly felt very welcoming. Also advised us well on food places for our dinner as they were not serving food due to staff issues, but as we had a car thus was not an issue.

We loved our stay at the Plough Inn. The room was perfect and was kept clean and tidy by the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we were well catered for. Plenty of beers and ciders on offer as well as evening meals and breakfast. We will definitely like to make a return visit and have told our family and friends.
