Everything to like. Friendly, cheerful staff. Instructions given on arrival for location of room, meal times, and music in the bar (which unable to hear from my bedroom).
Delicious dinner and breakfast. Bedroom clean and comfortable with ensuite. Highly recommend.
I loved all the little thoughtful touches like the tea and coffee supplies etc. I loved the wood burner and wood had been left. It was warm, spotless, comfortable, and inviting. A great location for the beach and the shops! We went to a couple of the local pubs and everyone was so friendly. We had a great Indian takeaway...food was stupendous! We met the lady next door and she was so lovely and friendly and helped us with information. This place was a total winner for us!!!!
Location was ideal for what we wanted and within easy walking distance of the White Horse Inn where we had a nice evening meal and a good breakfast when leaving.
Absolutely lovely home from home. 8 The Haven is amazingly well stocked, with everything you need to enjoy a happy and relaxed stay. Beautifully and sympathetically renovated in keeping with the original nostalgia of the Ogilvie built Suffolk holiday village.
Fantastic location in Thorpeness, facing the Meare and five minutes walk to the Country Club, Tennis Courts, Emporium, Dolphin Inn, Golf Club and beach.
the whole place was charming - quaint, lovely flowers in the garden. Good location. Leiston Abbey is wonderful as is Aldeburgh a favourite, Minnsmere is close - Orford is great too
We loved the breakfast. The people renting out the room are lovely. We liked sitting in the comfy chairs with the windows looking out to the garden after a day of visiting places. We had dinner at a nice pub within walking distance.
Bed was really comfortable and it was just a super cute place. A great pub a short walk away for dinner!
