Compact but comfortable and very handy to railway station (20 minute walk) riverside (5 minute walk), pub (5 minute walk) and centre of town (10-15 minute walk). Very good quality TV. The outdoor space will be great for warmer weather. Although the flat is on a main road (Star Lane), it is very well sound-insulated. We had a small issue upon arrival, but Fred was extremely helpful and sorted it while we were out for dinner. Wonderful shower unit.

Excellent customer service right from the start. Donna, Marina and Taiya were really helpful, friendly and very accommodating. Dinner and breakfast were really good value for money too. No complaints at all, would recommend.

All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The lounge area was very clean and welcoming and a nice space to sit and relax . Breakfast was good every morning, and dinner in the restaurant on our 2nd night was good.

Location is perfect when coming with car - just off A14 and avoiding the town traffic. Parking is free and there are plenty of parking spaces. The room was nothing special but clean, bright and we found everything we needed. The breakfast was as you would imaging -tasty and fulfilling. Dinner was nice and tasty.

Due to my husband's birthday, I arranged a surprise overnight stay and for our in-laws to join us for a celebratory dinner. We were allocated The Regatta room, which was absolutely beautiful and clean. Our views overlooked the pavilion, lake, and gardens. The bed was exceptionally comfortable (we like a firm bed). We had champagne with our Afternoon tea which was wonderful. Our full English breakfast was very tasty too.

Did eat breakfast goodies provided. Water barely warm for shaving. Hotel more like a guest house but was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff very helpful.

Staff were efficientt and friendly, particularly Viktoria in the restaurant. As we spent very little time in the hotel other than sleeping and breakfast it is difficult to say more. The one dinner we had with our family was fine.
