Ardennan House Hotel, inn in Inverurie

The Ardennan House Hotel is a charming Scottish family run hotel which has been renovated to a nice standard with modern, comfortable furnishings. It is a 5 minute drive/25 minute walk from the centre of Inverurie and we are only 11.5 miles from Aberdeen Airport and being within Aberdeens Oil Industry it makes our hotel perfect for working as well as relaxing.

We stayed at the hotel and also booked a family function - the staff were extremely helpful and it was even better than anticipated. I have seen negative comments about the hotel desk not being manned at all times but the staff went out of their way to ensure we knew when they were leaving and asking if we needed anything. The area is so peaceful - we loved sitting on the terrace listening to the birdsong.

This is a great place to stay. The staff we really friendly and welcoming. Room and bathroom were very clean, comfy bed, strong shower, good quality TV. I would highly recommend this place.

    Excellent breakfast, had dinner two nights- both excellent. Roomy, spotless ensuite room. On one evening when the dining room was fully booked, the owner drove me into town and gave recommendations about restaurants. Terrific service. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I hope to use Ardennan House as a base for my regular visits to the area.

    Good location. Needed overnight stay having walked Bennachie on way south. Would recommend. Breakfast good, paid extra but fair price in total. Have nice dinning room and dinner was fine.

    I arrived to find my room pre warmed and everything was clean well presented as I expected. I didn't have dinner as I had eaten earlier on a long train journey. I did not have breakfast as I left before the 8.30am time as I had a prior engagement.

    The hotel is in an ideal location, has everything you need for a nice stay e.g good size room, functional bathroom. The staff were lovely. Dinner and breakfast were delicious!

    The breakfast was very good. Dinner was quite nice. The shower was excellent - good pressure and hot water. Plenty of parking. The communal sitting areas were nice and there are games. There was filter coffee and snacks available in the room which was lovely.

    Our stay was very enjoyable though we thought we had booked a mini studio. We did not have breakfast as this was not included. However we had dinner and the food was delicious and service excellent.
