Our room was adequately furnished, spotlessly clean and comfortably warm. Breakfast was delightful served by welcoming and attentive staff.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Dinner with Gaels team. A terrific chap who has a tale to tell about serving "A" Listers in his days in the US. Food wasa dream and very well priced. Cat gave us a lovely welcome too.
We had a great overnight stay at the Pear Tree Inn. Accommodation was fantastic, very clean and very comfortable. Great choice for breakfast. Dinner was also excellent and we have to say Charlie was so attentive and friendly. We can fully recommend this place.
It was such a lovely spot and the fact that we were totally trusted with the property (as we were there when the inn was closed), was amazing.
Bed was super comfy too and the water was a great temperature.
The owners/staff were very friendly, treated us like personal friends rather than customers. This was the best place we stayed in during our five weeks in England! We loved staying here. Very comfortable room, extremely clean. Lovely location in a quiet country village. Beautiful dinner. Thank you!
Greeted warmly, the cottage was beautiful and very clean. Home made delicious cakes and brownies along with breakfast items all provided. We ate at the on site restaurant for lunch and dinner and the owner/chef made the most delicious plates. He was very knowledgeable about the food and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Can't recommend enough!!
Our four course dinner was a gastronomical trip on the taste buds.. Probably the most delicious meal I've ever had.
The actual inn is special, every detail is a pleasure to the eye, one of those places you never want to leave.
Thank you Gael for your hospitality.
Luxury for the price, the Pear Tree Inn was fantastic value for money. The staff were nice too! The owner and chef and waiting staff were really friendly.
