We arrived 10 minutes after the kitchen closed but nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed a lovely meal of scampi and homemade chips, the room was lovely and the bed was fantastically huge and comfortable

Friendly but efficient welcome and taken to our room, which was well appointed and spacious.
Dinner, which was booked, was delicious, freshly cooked, and 5 star.

Had a wonderful stay at The Greyhound Inn. It was perfectly situated for Scarborough, Whitby and York. Rooms were exceptional with beautiful views and impressive decor. Steve and Sharon couldn’t have been more friendly and made you feel so welcome and also our dog Barney, it was truly a dog friendly establishment. All the staff went the extra mile a truly memorable visit one we shall definitely visit again.
We stayed with our granddaughters (10 and 12). The family room was exceptionally spacious, nicely presented and warm, and the girls had their own twin-room with its own TV. I was worried because we were right at the side of the A64, but we weren’t disturbed at all by traffic noise, and earplugs were thoughtfully provided, had we needed them. Fabulous evening meal in a lovely , airy dining room. Beautifully cooked and presented breakfast and dinner. Catered for our various preferences. Prompt, friendly service at all times by all staff.
The appearance of the building was quite lovely with plenty of parking spaces at the front of the building as well the rear were we parked conveniently right outside the room we had for the night once I parked the landlord gave me the keys to the room he couldn’t be more helpful and he and his wife and staff members did an amazing job they made us feel so welcome the food was fabulous we had dinner and breakfast both meals were top notch 10 out of 10 on all counts we shall be coming back again that’s for sure.
The owner and assistant Alice made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast and dinner were hot and plentiful. The bill for the evening meal was extremely reasonable and the food delicious.
We asked for a twin bedded room with bath and got both, and the room we were given had the added bonus of an adjoining bedroom which my daughter appreciated as I snore apparently. The room was nice and warm and the water hot and plentiful throughout our stay. Everywhere in the Inn was very clean and looked well cared for.
Host was friendly, room was clean and well equipped, accommodated our needs well. The meal was great and really great to be able to park the car, have dinner and a drink and then walk across to our room. Breakfast was good.
A warm friendly welcome from all the team. The bedroom was beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. The food at dinner and breakfast was really good, my fish was cooked to perfection! Definitely recommend and would stay again, thank you for making us so welcome.
