The room was lovely and spacious and very clean. Dinner was delicious as was breakfast. I was travelling with my husband and son who were cycling. They left before breakfast started and the chef very kindly provided take away sausage sandwiches, which were very much appreciated.

    Great location for exploring the local area. All staff were very friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed all our meals (4 breakfasts and 2 dinners). The garden was lovely and well maintained, perfect for sitting out on a sunny evening. The bathroom was super. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Overnight stay in this incredible historic Inn. Extremely well refurbished, felt original but as comfortable as a modern hotel. Very good evening meal, reasonably priced menu, good full English breakfast. Competitively priced for the area, nice gardens and adequate parking
