Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Had a great stay at the museum inn. Amanda and tim were very hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable.

A warm welcome upon arrival makes such a difference when travelling solo. Amanda made sure I had everything I needed to make my stay an excellent experience, her colleagues were equally helpful.

The room was lovely with enough room. The shower was excellent, the bed was soooo comfortable and the room just a hop, skip and a jump from the bar. The food was good, so too the ambience and staff very pleasant. If I were to pass this way again I'd happily stay at The Museum Inn.
The whole experience at breakfast was really excellent and the lady who served us was superb. The food at dinner was also excellent, room was comfortable, warm and great value.
Excellent with good range of cooked breakfast included in the room rate. Great coffee and friendly service combine with awesome room and atmosphere. Dinner in the restuarant was excellent, highly reccomend the battered sardines. Good wine list to support.

The Museum Inn has a lovely relaxed welcoming vibe, comfortable beds, excellent and varied selection of locally sourced produce on the menu and is set in the most picturesque village location. I would definitely recommend their five star service.
We love to stay in the Museum inn Farnham, we come to the Chalke Valley History Festival. The most welcoming friendly and helpful staff a,ways. When we arrive to go to the history festival they always try to have our room ready.
