The staff were amazing. Really friendly and helpful.
The location was great as we were meeting friends in Saltash.
On-site parking.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The place was beautiful and very clean. The food was outstanding. The views were spectacular! There is not one thing you could fault. The food was so good and a nice variety too and very fresh. Well done Inn on the Shire, we will be back very soon!
The inn is in an excellent position right on the Shore with great views along the coast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. Evening meals were excellent. Easy parking.
The view was amazing with just a short walk to the beach and a country park, ideal for walkers. Add to that there is the Smugglers Inn and The Beach House where you can get a drink and a bite to eat. Looe, Polperro and Fowey are just a short drive away with Downderry a short walk along the beach when the tide is out.
After a long day and a long drive, I needed somewhere peaceful to sleep and something good to eat. Inn oN The Shore was perfect, with many friendly local families adding to the charm of the place
The room was clean, comfortable with all the usual amenities. The Inn on the Shore had a wonderful location, right on the water's edge (as the name would suggest) - pity the weather was so bad while we were there! Very tasty evening meal, and good breakfast. Free parking is always appreciated; overall, a very pleasant stay.
The property is right on the shore - having sea view s from our bedroom and the dining areas is a great advantage. Free car park with direct access to the Inn.
Always loved the position of the Inn right on the beach. Since our last visit there is a vast improvement staff pleasant and accommodating …cleanliness greatly improved ..
very nice stay this time
Fantastic spot. Had a Sea View room. We fell asleep listening to the waves lapping the shore. It was bliss. The rooms have all you need, and the bed is comfy. Staff are fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble. The food is Amazing! A delight to the taste buds and the eye. All served with that Awesome Ocean View. Although we left ours with friends, dogs are welcome throughout the Inn. Absolutely loved our week here. We shall definitely be back !
