Lovely old inn tastefully restored. Exceptional attention to detail in rooms with thoughtful 'extras' including books to read, solitaire puzzles, Roberts radio. One of the comfiest hotel beds I've ever slept in! First class breakfast with wide choice including fresh fruit salad. Well kept draft beer. Staff friendly and efficient. Wished we could have stayed longer. Strongly recommend.

Every aspect of our stay was superb. Because we had a very early departure we were unable to enjoy breakfast which was included in the overall price. The proprietor, Jonathan, therefore us a £20 discount on our dinner bill to compensate for this...what a generous gesture.
