Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
We stayed at the lodges at the rear of The Crown as we were attending a wedding. The accomodation was ideal as it was on site. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast in The Crown Inn in the morning. It was not included but was very reasonably priced and delicious.
Very nice room, very well equipped and comfortable. Really liked the easy check in and check out process. Surrounded by restaurants for dinner it breakfast.
Great, comfy little Inn close to the port of Dover. I travelled alone with 2 children and the room was great. Very comfortable. had everything we needed for a one night stay to get an early morning ferry. The girl who welcomed us when we arrived quite late was super friendly and we stayed for a drink at the bar. Easy to drop keys and leave early for the ferry.
The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The quaint little room and the bathroom was clean. Food was tasty. It was a lovely touch having a big jar of cold water in the fridge and complimentary watermelon after dinner. The water in the pool was warm and the jacuzzi lovely.
What a great place in a peaceful location. Room was very clean, with fluffy white towels and crisp cotton linen. A tower fan was provided too, along with a hairdryer and an iron. We were able to park directly outside our room. We ate in the pub in the evening and at breakfast. Couldn’t fault the sea bass and pork loin for dinner - it was superb.
Our double room was spacious and comfortable - certainly better than some hotel rooms... The food provided at dinner and breakfast was very good and the service excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Such a pretty location, perfectly situated by both the town and the seafront. With ample outside seating for breakfast, lunch or dinner or simply to take in the beautiful surrounds with a favourite tipple! A nice lively vibe of an evening, with lots of families enjoying the outside dining. Helpful & friendly staff ready to assist and a functional room with fantastic sea view & a very comfort bed!
Lovely clean room with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Great location near to Dover Ferry Port. Evening meal in the pub/inn was amazing value with a very large enjoyable dinner.
