The Railway Inn, hotel in Dartmouth

Situated in Churston Ferrers, The Railway Inn is a pub and restaurant, with rooms.

Great location for visiting the places I had wanted to see. Walking distance to national trust Greenway, and only a 20 minute drive to national trust Coleton Fishacre. The bus stop is only a 2 minute walk which will take you into Paignton, Torquay or beyond and is a regular service. Good size room and food was excellent. Had breakfast and dinner each day and never disappointed, and staff were attentive. Really good sized car park too.

Perfect location overlooking the inner harbour. Excellent room (no.6) with bath AND shower, super-comfortable bed with duvet (why do most hotels still use sheets?). Beautifully-cooked breakfast. Exceptional staff. In all, absolutely delightful.

Location was so close to shops, restaurants, pubs, market etc. Everything was an easy walk. We arrived early and we were able to check in. Room had everything we needed and we even had dinner on the terrace one evening. It felt private as other guests were quiet.
