They were incredibly kind and considerate, especially with my anxious dog! Food was delicious and we couldn't have been situated in a more beautiful setting!

The room was fabulous, very clean and comfortable with a fantastic view from the balcony. All the staff were exceptional, they were friendly, pleasant and very welcoming, they couldn'tdo enough for my mother and myself. The customer service training is first class! The food exceeded our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed all our meals.

Room was lovely. Pub/restaurant area downstairs was also great. Food was really nice (definitely pre-book a table for dinner). Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking. Will definitely come back.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The breakfast was lovely and set you up for the day. Dinner was good and varied and reasonable priced along with a variety of drinks. The location for us was great and not far from the Ruskin Museum to see Blue Bird. There was a variety of small shops with three other pubs close by. All in all a good stay. The staff were great always friendly and helpful and ready to take your order.
The room and guest house were spotlessly clean. The beds and chairs were very comfortable - I had a deep night's sleep both nights. The location was ideal - in the heart of Coniston: after a good day's walking, the town's pubs and eplaves to eat were close by. Frances the host was very friendly and helpful pointing out where to park. The breakfast was very tasty. I would have no hesitation recommending this B&B to all my friends as an ideal place to stay on Coniston.
A lovely cottage with good facilities - even an air fryer (which was new to me!). Though the twin room was made up as a double (which did not suit our party), this was quickly corrected when we asked it to change. Our visit was mostly walking. We cooked our own meals apart from fish and chips one night, and one night (with many friends) at a formal dinner.
The Crown Inn gave us a very warm welcome 🙏 the staff were friendly and had a great atmosphere. Our room was clean and very comfortable with a pod coffee machine, fresh milk and water in a mini fridge. Bed comfy and great smelling toiletries in the bathroom.
Good food and lovely breakfast.
