Loved the food, both dinner and breakfast were totally excellent. We really enjoyed the Asian/Malaysian-inspired offerings (like beef rendang) and thought they were deliciously authentic. The owners and staff were wonderful. We also liked the hotel’s cosy decor, attractive furnishings and the overall pleasant feel inside the building.

Everything was executed to a very high standard. The bedroom was large and the bed very comfortable, everything was clean. Every detail had been thought through and provided for. The food was very good - maybe a fruit salad would make the breakfast exceptional. The grounds were beautiful - a lot of work has gone into making it such a lovely place to be. Lots of space for children to play if needed. Lovely hosts, friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the Five Dials in Horton - 20 minute walk. Food was really nice and good service.

Breakfast was good very filling did not need lunch. The food at dinner was good but my husband often likes to have 2 starters rather than a main meal, so no starters on menu. The room was very good for the price only complaint was uncomfortable pillows

Beautiful surroundings with it's own little lake. Can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even helped with next day itinerary planning! Super team! And we had the pleasure of the Sous-Chef cooking us dinner which was superb!
