The Bull and Townhouse, Beaumaris- The Inn Collection Group, hotel in Caernarfon

Dating back to the 15th century, The Bull and Townhouse, Beaumaris- The Inn Collection Group is Grade II listed, with a traditional bar and a stylish restaurant.

All was well. The only thing that mystified me was and I stayed in the Townhouse was how come the number on my key related to a name on the door and not the corresponding number as on the Key.

George IV Hotel, hotel in Caernarfon

With magnificent views towards the sea and the old medieval hilltop castle, this atmospheric hotel is situated on the High Street in the centre of town.

Staff were friendly and helpful .We spent the evening walking round the bay and stayed in the lounge talking and listening to the music. We hadn’t originally ordered breakfast but decided to book it before we went up to the room.

Great check in, we were on our motorbike and staff went out of their way to organise us safe parking in the rear courtyard. Love the atmosphere here, it was our 5th time staying at The Black Boy. Lovely dinner in the main bar.

Liked the old world charm and hospitality, amazing dinner (I think that's was the best lobster I've had in awhile), breakfast with so many great choices that we ended up eating way more than we should've but it was so delicious, so no regrets.

This is a well located and comfortable inn in Caernarfon. The room was comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. Meals in the bar/restaurant were reasonably priced. The inn is in close walking distance of all the key attractions in Caernarfon. While parking was offsite, it was included in the cost of the stay at the inn. Staff were very helpful.

No fuss, no frills guest house. Exactly as advertised. Read various reviews about the Tegfan and booked it because the likes of Premier Inn were more than double the price. Perfectly adequate room with TV and kettle. The shower and toilet were separate but working fine (lovely hot shower). The breakfast served at the Anglesey Arms was just the thing to set you up for the day. Staff were welcoming and friendly too. All in all a good place to stay and I'd have no hesitation staying at the Tegfan again.

Well placed guest house in the centre of Caernarfon. The restarant and bar for Ty Dre are are at the Black Boy Inn (round the corner) and these were fine with a good menu available. It was a very hot weekend during our stay which did cause us some issues as the rooms are not air-conditioned, but the staff did their utmost to try and alleviate the heat as much as they could. The bed in the room was comfortable and the bathroom well appointed.
