Or room was clean and comfortable room. We ate in the restaurant, we choose the set price for 2 courses option and had a very good meal at a very affordable price. Staff were freindly and helpful.

We didn't have Breakfast as we were heading off early to get to the Grand Prix. The staff were exceptional. They were super friendly and you could tell that they had a great place in the community.
They were showing the England match in the bar, and even organised a fun competition to see if anyone could guess the full time score.
We ordered some food that we had at the bar. It was tasty, good value and arrived quickly.
We couldn't get the TV to work in the room and so we were quickly moved to another room without any problems. The room was right above the bar and so it was a little noisy, but it was clean and comfortable.

An excellent place for a few days off the beaten track.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
We were disappointed that there was no longer afternoon tea, dinner, or a licensed bar as shown on some websites; when we mentioned this we felt the landlady was offended
The daily room servicing did not include making the bed, just the duvet pulled up over the unkempt sheet
The room and bathroom were clean and there was plenty of tea and coffee
A lovely guest house if a little tired, and very convenient for visiting the Cotswolds
Really pretty guest house walking distance from the centre of Banbury. Free parking and a comfortable bed. I didn't have breakfast or dinner but it looked nice and busy so I would expect it was a good option.
Quality,& presentation of food ,honest integrity of owners ,who offered value & service that was once a traditional Innkeepers hallmark . This is a very beautiful small village if you are seeking peace & quiet , and the local residents seem to give support and appreciation ; for us ,this was a memorable two night visit ,thanks to the owners .
Bernard and Paula .
I love the quirky old rooms at this lovely historic inn. The staff are always friendly and the breakfast is hearty . It’s also in a very central location
Delightful stone and thatched Inn an attractive Cotswold village with very good evening meal. The pleasant Greek landlord has introduced the Taverna style to a classic English country pub with great success.
