This beautiful thatched country inn offers a flagstoned bar, an award winning restaurant, free Wi-Fi and stylish rooms with toiletries by Bramley.

The Red Lion Inn is situated 5 minutes’ drive off the A303 and A37 roads. Yeovil and Glastonbury are a 20 minute drive away and there is free parking at the property.

This was a brilliant experience all around. From the second we arrived, through the outstanding dinner, the truly outstanding and amazing value room and rounded off with the best in class full English breakfast. This is an example of the best that hospitality can do when care, thought and attention to detail are prioritised.

Boasting a garden, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, The Kingsdon Inn is set in Kingsdon, 49 km from Longleat Safari Park and 50 km from Longleat House. The property offers a children's playground.

At the inn, the rooms come with a desk, a TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. All guest rooms will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle.

Despite the age of the Inn, it is beautifully appointed and charming. Since the Inn is closed Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, we weren’t able to take advantage of the wonderful food we hear they have. Food is available about 5 miles away. We’d definitely stay again!

What a stunning country pub gem! We just left the "tourist highway to the South West" for a 5-mile-detour and found THIS. Where should I start? Perfect free parking, spacious room literally right in (!) the pub's outside patio (but without any noise whatsoever after dark); excellent (really, really EXCELLENT food); very welcoming staff even for non-Brits like us; bargain room rate for what you get;

    Love this pub so much! Our first time staying (after many visits for dinner and drinks) and it surpassed expectations. Gruff (dog 120 on their wall) also loved it. The cheese soufflé always slaps, too. Thank you!

    beautiful charm and character country inn , staff were very friendly , food was delicious the only thing that let the full English included breakfast down was there was half a mushroom and half slice of black pudding included which seemed and looked ridiculous on the massive plates ( surely for the price you pay we could have had a whole mushroom and a whole slice of black pudding)

    Fabulous hotel and stay, The staff were incredibly welcoming both at check in and dinner and breakfast service. The food was exceptional and the menu had a good variety. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I also left an item of clothing behind and had to call to see if I could get the item returned the staff were most helpful and agreed to post back as I live over 200miles away.
