A 10-minute walk from the centre of Great Missenden is the Nag’s Head Hotel, a 4-star 15th century inn. Guests can enjoy contemporary styled interiors, Anglo-French fusion cuisine and free Wi-Fi.
Since the 16th century, The Spread Eagle has hosted historic guests such as King Charles II and the writer Evelyn Waugh. Today it offers a warm welcome, excellent food and free Wi-Fi.

Parking on site good. Check in good. Incl. taking car reg no for parking. Room good size and clean with adequate hanging for clothes. Shower ok. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided. Ground floor room was close to the dinner and breakfast and not noisy. Good size TV.
Food for the County Dinner was good in quality with a lovely piece of salmon but could have been hotter.
Local high street and shops a very short walk away.
This hotel dates from the Tudor period, but the inside reflects the very best in modern design. It is featured in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral, as well as the TV show Midsomer Murders.

Absolutely lovely accommodation - exceptionally comfortable and pretty unique . Brilliant location - with good car parking .

Very friendly and accommodating and local feel to it. Went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even set aside dinner for later arrival on a Sunday.
Location with lots of parking. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the leisure facilities. Excellent breakfast and morning restaurant staff were very accommodating.
