Just got back from a lovely stay at the George Hotel. The room was spacious with a comfy bed. the bathroom was fairly recently refurbish or/and kept immaculately clean. got the bus into Lyme Regis and had a lovely day out there. Breakfast was well cooked and with nice coffee. Staff are very friendly and made us feel welcome. Thank you for accommodating a picky wife at dinner.

Great location for us for visiting family in Axminster. Basic Motel style fine for us, obs near A35 but 'round the back' and also, walls were solid so noise limited. Clean bathroom and towels plus free wifi. The bed was much comfier than it looks and bedding super; 2 great nights' sleep. With a Greggs, a Subway and Londis fine for snacks. Kilmington lovely village and pleasant walk to New Inn for bar snacks. Bright lights(!) of Axminster 5 min drive. Great price with booking.com

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome, staff friendly and efficient, place was spotlessly clean. Stayed in room 105, absolutely stunning, comfy bed, spacious room everything you could need for a relaxing nights stay. Great choice of food and drink in the bar, we hadnt planned to stay for dinner but after having a fabulous lunch there we had to! Food was exceptional, great value for money, good menu choice and cooked to perfection. I cant praise enough, staff are exceptional, nothing was to much trouble
