Breakfast and dinner wee excellent. Food was excellent, beautifully cooked, well presented by friendly staff. I was able to mix and match the menu to meet my needs. I invited friends along who also loved the food.

staff, food, pub all lovely. great ice cream! plenty of space with a large garden. both dogs loved it. room really nice, and comfortable. good breakfast. bus stop is right outside. we actually thought we were in Wells, but it's a few miles out, however bus service is good. parking is quite tight, but, that's the only thing.
thanks Peter and the team.

Nice inn, located in a small village. Lots of parking spaces. There are only two rooms, in a building adjacent to the inn. The room we had was lovely decorated and clean. Very warm atmosphere. The manager was friendly! Food and beer selection both good. Nothing too fancy, but we had a nice dinner and breakfast.

Bed and pillows were comfy. Bathroom was spacious, almost too big as it was half the size of the room! Wished the room was bigger..

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Really comfortable and spacious room with character. Friendly service and great breakfast (particularly loved the homemade jams - rhubarb and ginger highly recommended). Coffee machine downstairs free to use for guests at any time is a great touch too (much nicer than pod machines). Set in beautiful countryside (of course) and The New Inn over the road has good local beer and great food for dinner.
The staff were super friendly, the breakfast exceptional, and we had the added bonus of finding car charging facilities in the car park. We didn’t use it this time (as we charged whilst we had dinner at a pub on route) but will next time we stay. We’d love to come visit again and consider this BnB a great find!
Such attention to detail and lovely clean rooms. Fantastic breakfast with so much choice and exceptional homemade jam. We cycled there (it is close to the Strawberry line) and there were facilities to lock up our bikes. Attentive host who obviously takes pride in their guest house and has taken steps to be as sustainable and eco friendly as possible. Highly recommended.
The pleasant suprise of how quiet it was in the rooms. Once you close the two sets of windows, you won't know you are next to a road. The rooms are well thought out spacious and comfortable and clean, and the owner is really nice and welcoming. The breakfast is lovely and people around friendly. The new inn that was recommended for the evening meal was also lovely food and ales.
I would definitely use this place again and recommend others to book here.
Location is middle of nowhere (if you're a suburbanite!) but there are amazing walks right from the front door, so in fact ended up very happy with the location. And local pub (New Inn) is so good we couldn't get a table!
This is a quality b and b, run with care and attention to detail, from the parking area to the room, the lounge and the breakfast room. Also, homemade pub meals at the New Inn across the road. We will be back.
We were warmly welcomed by Graham and had a great stay, with good beds and breakfast. We took a walk into Axbridge, as the closest inn was full, and had a nice dinner at the Lamb Inn. The Old Manor House is close to the Cheddar gorge, which we visited after our departure.
Breakfast was great
We did not try the dinner but the Lamb pub nearby has great food
Handy for a Cheddar visit
