It was in a great location and although the drop off sounded complicated it was actually easy and worked very well. The free long stay car park was a short walk away. The 35 steps up to our room carrying luggage was a stretch.

The Half Moon Inn, hotel in Amble

The food was excellent. the pie was the best that I have had that comes in a dish. the other meals were really good. Breakfast was excellent and the service was really good. The room was a short walk away from the pub, this was ideal as it was easy to get to but you didn't get the noise form the pub that would keep you awake.

Turks Head Rothbury, hotel in Amble

Well-placed for access to the stunning Northumberland countryside and coastline, The Turks Head offers accommodation options ranging from double rooms to private cottages.

The location was perfect and great for me and my sister to stay in contact with our parents whilst on holiday. The place was clean with plenty of room. Greatly appreciated putting hot chocolate in the room since we don't drink coffee and it makes it feel more homely. The bed were very comfortable and the chairs too. We enjoyed both breakfast the food was great. The staff were lovely and very polite always friendly when speaking with them.

Breakfast and evening meal was typical pub-style food. the inn is located on the west edge of town, so not so convenient. It is a modern, recently constructed building, clean and functional. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and well appointed, good wifi, no air con but and effective portable fan provided. Big restaurant area and garden with outside seating. Very good car parking.

Cycled there, good location for our trip on the outskirts of town, safe cycle storage, very modern bar with a great choice of beers inc Guinness, our room was clean and modern with an access door leading to the outside, very useful when loading cycles up. The evening meal was really good, the breakfast was a buffet type with a good choice of food and very well cooked.

What a lovely place to break my journey to Scotland and find out what the Amble puffin festival is all about. The room is a large suite with incredibly comfortable bed, open top bath and separate shower room. Sparkling water and orange juice as well as tea and coffee and croissants were all provided. The food in the pub was outstanding with a seafood bias. The Harbour Inn is literally a step from the harbour with beautiful views down the estuary to Warkworth Castle and out o sea to Coquet Island. I would definitely like to return!

Great stay in the recently refurbished Harbour Inn. Spacious and tastefully decorated with friendly service, the room was luxurious, warm and inviting. The bar and restaurant downstairs is excellent with great beers and amazing food. Location is superb and right down in the beautiful Harbour area of town. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. An excellent weekend break for us!
