The hosts. Two lovely women who obviously cared about standards. The bed was comfortable. I had a bathroom with a bath and shower. A bath is essential for me when booking an hotel. Breakfast was good..

Used this as a suitable place to stop before and after a trip to Cardiff. It was perfect. We missed the opportunity to stay for dinner but it looked very good. The room was both comfortable and clean. All staff were friendly and efficient.

Rural style on quiet and gsm signal free place. Access by narrow village roads. Small private grass terrace available. Rooms equipped more like home than hotel style, including kids toys, books, dvds etc. Relatively small dinning place, ideal for 2 persons, despite 4 beds setup. Spacy and nice bathroom. 2-3 pubs in a village just 5 minutes by car.

The room at the Globe Inn, Alvington was furnished to a really high standard. It was like staying in a home away from home. It was very clean, comfortable and ideal for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and the food from the restaurant was delicious. The slow-roast pork belly dish was amazing!

The staff were lovely and did their best My advice is to avoid an evening check-in The experience may have been better if I had dinner at the restaurant. No breakfast 😫
