A very charming country inn close by our destination for the following two days. The food in the evening was excellent, breakfast likewise. I would definitely go back if I were ever in the area again

A lovely stop off on our canal walking holiday. These lovely old inns are still looking after weary travellers. Good Sunday lunch.

Attending a wedding which was very near, so location was very good, although on Saturday evening it was very noisy as one of our rooms was directly above the bar. Restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful on Friday when we had dinner.

Loved getting a proper key rather than a digital key card. The rooms were rustic and homely and the staff were incredibly friendly. A great selection of tea and coffee as well.

We have booked a group for dinner, the food was o.k. but one person had to wait a long time for their dinner when everyone else was nearly finished. The breakfast was ok

We stayed at the Hinds Head the night before attending a wedding. Location was perfect, just down the road. The service we received was excellent, super friendly staff. We were upgraded due to the room we booked had no access to open the window and it was a super hot weekend, so that was a lovely surprise! Our room was gorgeous we loved all the little extras, including a fan which was 100% needed. We also had dinner in restaurant which was also superb!

Despite renovations it has retained its rustic coach house feel. Room 6 was fab: bed was flipping huge! The chef deserves a medal: my dinner and breakfast were among the best I’ve had. The food alone tempts me back.
