A Beautiful Inn full of character, charm and history. The owners and staff were fantastic. The room was beautiful and the place full of 9' ceilings and antiques. The dinner meal and breakfast were great and went well with the wine. The celebrity guest list included Queen Elizabeth in 1984. Not too far off of the Trans Canada Highway. Would stay here again, no doubt what so ever.

The hotel is a lovely 19th century home with mostly period decor and furnishing. The owner and his staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, as was the dinner in the beautiful dining room. Booking and pre-ordering dinner is requested of guests. Sackville is an interesting small town with a university. There are lovely trails around the extensive waterfowl reserve in easy walking distance from the hotel. I walked from the Via Rail station in less than 10 minutes. An excellent pause on my way from Halifax to Charlottetown.

Dinner was very nice. The chef was able to accommodate my request for a vegan meal. The inn and grounds are lovely. Bed was comfortable. Location is ideal, in walking distance of everything in the town.

The Inn is a once lovely property but would benefit from renovations. This is likely not possible in these times, and the host seems to be doing the best he can. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable and the adjoining bathroom a fascinating example of an updated original room. The dinner was quite good and the dining room is beautiful. Host was friendly and clearly doing the best he can with limited staff.

The atmosphere of this historic inn is so unique and lovely in a gracious old-fashioned way. The manager was almost the entire staff when we were there as a major employee was out sick. As a result, however, the two of us were seated at a special table in the parlour. The food is extremely good.

It was very historical and was once a beautiful inn. Good location close to downtown so we could easily walk to nearby restaurants. Thick bath towels.
