We loved the view from our balcony, even when the clouds came over and it was pouring with rain! Blankets and comfy balcony chairs were a plus. Nice spacious room, really comfy bed, great shower/bath and spacious bathroom. The room was very quiet, even with people staying either side of us. We were pleased to have a fridge in the room to store fresh milk and other perishable food. Lovely breakfast. We only ate dinner once in the restaurant but the 5-course meal was excellent. We speak reasonable French, which was appreciated by the Québecois staff, but many of them spoke a bit of English too. They were all very friendly and welcoming. We wished we could have stayed a few days more. It was such a beautiful setting.

We really liked the view from our bedroom watching the sunset. In addition, Ms. Sylvie, the cleaning lady, was absolutely charming.
The only little problem is that there was no lift to bring our baggage to our bedroom...My husband has a heart condition and carrying luggage climbing stairs was an issue. But luckily at the reception desk they found someone to help us!

The place was beautiful, in the forest, very comfortable and the people was very helpful. Food was good and breakfast as well. The location was perfect and we were lucky to see the stars and the Milky Way.
Looking forward in coming back soon

Wonderful attention to detail, friendly proprietors, great breakfast.
I Booked this hotel last minute so I could get up early and hike at the Hautes-Gorges! I was very happy with the location of the hotel, super friendly staff and quick checkin, parking on site, lovely quiet corner room, love that there was a fridge to keep my dinner, breakfast and snack fresh, comfortable bed, bathroom & bedroom were very clean! Beautiful lobby area. Did not have the chance to taste their home made breakfast as I was checking out too early! I Will book again!! 🤍
The staff were welcoming, the room very comfortable and facing north had a glorious view over La Malbaie. The food at the restaurant, particularly dinner was outstanding, good wine list and welcoming service. I would happily return
This is a small boutique hotel with a phenomenal restaurant in the building. Had two dinners and two breakfasts. Basically ate ourselves silly. Received exceptional service from all staff. Highly recommend.
This had to be the best Auberge that we have stayed in. The innkeepers were so helpful and accommodating since my wife had some mobility limits. They also were good at making suggestions for activities and giving us good information. The breakfast buffet was a delight each morning. So much of it was homemade including fabulous jams.
Breakfasts were varied and all delicious, beautifully plated! View from the breakfast room is spectacular
The family who run the B&B
are very friendly and accommodating. We had a delicious dinner for our 50th anniversary in their beautiful dining room.
This is an older hotel but the setting is wonderful. Beautiful grounds and we had a balcony overlooking the property. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was very comfy. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Stunning views and high quality food.
