Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Four guys on a motorcycle trip stopped here one evening in July 2024. It reminded us of an old style rustic resort in northern Wisconsin. It certainly doesn’t look like a modern Hampton Inn, but we will prefer this every time. The restaurant food is good and the servers were great fun and very attentive.
The breakfast was great. Karen is kind and friendly, that coocked the breakfast. :)

The restaurant food and staff were very good. It was great to not have to drive somewhere for dinner and breakfast. A great spot overlooking the falls.
It is nicely situated and the on-site restaurant has friendly staff and a good range of food to choose from. We only stayed one night and had dinner & breakfast and cannot complain. The room was very clean and had everything you might need. Good view of the falls, particularly from the restaurant.
We have stayed at this hotel at least once or twice a year driving through over the past 20 years and it has changed its name, used to be quality inn with pres du lac restaurant. The hotel stands up very well, maybe not as up to date as others but it was clean, beds were comfy, nice indoor pool and hot tub, air conditioning and a fabulous breakfast included. Even had a waffle maker, yum. The price was also affordable.
I had dinner in the restaurant within the facility and the service was excellent and the food was nice in a very down-home country way! The room was charming, in that old-fashion motel style, clean and comfortable. it was an added bonus that it had a small kitchenette. We will stay here again!
We really enjoyed the location of this motel while travelling through from Ontario to Nova Scotia on the trans Canada . The room was very clean and comfortable and we had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. With a fabulous view. Would definitely stay here again!
