    Downtown location was great. Given its location, the room was surprisingly quiet. Decor of the room and the overall ambience was interesting, the hotel being an old jail Being downtown, the free parking was useful. The hostess was very accommodating and pleasant. We had an informative discussion of life in Cobourg and she gave us good suggestions for where to go for dinner and breakfast.

    Loved our stay at The King George Inn. We booked the room with some of the original jail cell still intact. It was a great room. Got some crazy fun pictures. Check in was quick and easy. Also got to visit the jail museum downstairs as a bonus.

    I have stayed here a number of times and it is always a pleasure. It is such an interesting Inn. The rooms are lovely and the staff are very nice and helpful. It is a wonderful location. I will continue to stay here on my travels to Cobourg.

    Food was excellent for dinner and breakfast. View was lovely and relaxing (we even saw 3 deer walking in the distance). Lovely walking trails near the hotel.

    I have stayed here a few times. I enjoy the various types of rooms which are very nice. The staff are lovely and it is a great location - moments from the lake. I highly suggest this Inn.

    The young man who checked us in was wonderful. We checked into the room to drop off our luggage; went to see the museum, the gardens & then off to dinner. When we returned, we realized there was no toilet paper in the bathroom! Thankfully, the staff responded & was there within minutes.

    Both dinner and breakfast menus were varied and options selected were delicious. Very secluded location with lovely setting and nice amenities. Our overnight stay was quiet and restful.
