Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The apartment that we were allocated had lovely views over the ocean. Was next door to the public hospital which was needed during our visit. There was a lovely walk path along the waterfront and if fit enough could take you right up to Cairns Central Shopping. There also were a number of close cafes within walking distance of the apartment. Also there was a tavern close by. It was very easy to enter and leave parking from the apartment. Staff were very friendly and co-operative
Comfortable beds, good apartment for short stay. Good steak house near by for lunch and/or dinner. Breakfast options on Esplanade within walking distance
Our second time back here to relax and recharge and it didn’t disappoint - the Horizon rooms overlooking the Marina are stunning and come with access to the Horizon Club - delish brekky, daily snacks and pre dinner canapés and drinks.
Staff super friendly from reception, to dining to housekeeping - service with a smile!
The pool and surroundings are very relaxing and lovely atmosphere - albeit the pool is chilly!
Very good location, walking distance to the terminal and train station and of course lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Parking is provided at the front of the rooms. It was very affordable and perfect for our overnight stay. The room provided all the essentials we needed. The Edge Hill Tavern also provided great food and friendly service with discounted drinks and dinner for the residents staying in the accomodation. We definitely recommend staying there. We attended a band at the Tavern, so it provided the perfect accommodation and met all the criteria. 😃😃😃
