I grew up in East London & completed my schooling there. Very family oriented city with lots to do, beautiful beaches, sporting activities & several shopping malls with a variety of shops & restaurants.
The location was excellent, next to Gonubie Hotel, opposite the beach. Walking distance to several eat out places and stroll across the road onto the beach. Self catering apartment with everything needed, including an airfryer. Comfortable bed, neat, clean and very nicely done up. Host, Kevin was helpful and friendly. TV and choice of channels was fantastic. Definitely worth ones money and would definitely recommend this accommodation.
The breakfast was fine but the lady did not tell us what time is everything and in our room there was nothing with the breakfast times, there was no paper with reception information for emergencies and ordering room service.
The reception lady was a little bit rude when our booking from Booking.Com was taking long to reflect on the hotel system.
Such a lovely/friendly host. This lady is a true gem! Even gave my husband and I Easter eggs on Easter day 😊
Loved the privacy and how clean everything was. Thanks Michelle we loved staying with you and will definitely stay with you next time we find ourselves in East London!
Beautiful apart right on the beach. Spacious, everything you need! Mattrass very comfortable!! Delicious pizzas at the hotel right next to the apartment. Also lovely pancake restaurant walking distance. Went for long walks .... beautiful beach and river/lagoon.
If you are looking for a break from the city life but with the convenience of shopping malls nearby I would highly recommend this place.
The hotel is quiet, clean, beautiful and comfortable.
The staff is friendly and welcoming.
Great value for money - clean, tidy and quiet. Lovely and safe suburb and close to shops and mall. Would recommend to someone needing a few nights accommodation in East London - was booked for guests attending a wedding.
I would like to say I loved the property, surrounded by nature, quiet, peaceful and serene, the host Annetjie was very welcoming and accommodating, will definitely be staying there if and when I'm in East London.
I love the personal experience one gets when you check-into the apartment after a long day. It does not give a hotel-vibe...I prefer the homely/apartment-feel it gives
