We had a wonderful experience here. We would stay again.
So many things to see have to come back. A lot of places were not disabled person friendly. I would of like to see more, but as a disabled person. I was disappointed for me and my family. Iver all need about a week or more.

We loved St Augustine!
We loved St Augustine! From the history of the City to the beaches on the coastline. Our favorite times were on a romantic Sunset cruise and the awe inspiring church tour. One must eat at DJ's Clam Shack! Great seafood! St George St is must with its little shops, museums and eateries. Wear comfortable shoes when you go because parking is limited but you'll find its worth the walk!

Of all the places I've visited in the US, St.
Of all the places I've visited in the US, St. Augustine was by far my favourite. It was absolutely beautiful--incredible historical buildings, lots of local owned and operated businesses selling interesting and unique things, the people were incredibly kind, the weather was great. It was very easy to get around as well--you could walk around town without much difficulty.
There were also a lot of wonderful historical sites and museums--the Medieval Torture Museum was excellent and a lot of fun, and the staff were very friendly. Additionally, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park made for a fantastic day out. Prehistoric St. Augustine was also a highlight of the trip!
I cannot recommend visiting enough.
That being said, one negative to visiting was definitely the water--it had a very unpleasant taste and even smell when showering. Bottled water is definitely the way to go unfortunately.

What a great place to visit!
What a great place to visit! There’s so much history and then so many great places to eat and shop. Bring your walking shoes……the best way to get around! Take the trolley for an informative and fun overview of the city! Don’t miss the fort(Castillo de San Marcos)and consider Fort Matanzas nearby. Flagler (Hotel Ponce de Leon) is a must! It’s an easy city to get around and things are close. Before you go spend some time online exploring. A week here would be fantastic but 3-4 days would work. We only had 2days…….not enough! Can’t wait to go back!

Loved St. Augustine. So much history & so much to do!
Loved St. Augustine. So much history & so much to do! Tours, museums, water sports, great restaurants, all in walking distance to each other. Weekends during peak season a little crazy. As a retired health care worker, I enjoyed the Spanish Military Hospital museum. Also enjoyed the candy factory tour. Of course, the Castillo was great. Dinner at Harry’s was awesome. Trolley tour was nice to get the lay of the land & worked well while it rained. They even passed out decent ponchos. Kilwin’s ice cream hit the spot on the one hot day.
A fully functional apartment with a kitchen, washing machine, and everything you can expect. A parking place for the guests, another spot for a visitor. Cleanliness. All this makes it an excellent alternative to a hotel. An ideal place for a couple or a small family for a city break or a short vacation, next to the Atlantic ocean, with beach access, and very close to the historic center of the nation's oldest city. The property is not cheap and a deposit is required, but it's possibly worth every dollar spent.
Hotel was great. Clean, comfortable, and excellently located. Staff was very flexible. We were three families travelling together and they accommodated us next to each other. We arrived quite late in the evening with hungry children, and they facilitated to us contact details for a pizza place and allowed us to use the hotel lobby to eat it. Location was excellent, just a short walk away from the centre of St. Augustine. Would definitely stay there again!
Beautiful house with nice rooms very close to the historic heart of St. Augustine. The breakfast was much better than at every other hotel we stayed: homemade, fresh and delicious. I myself would have preferred a decent buffet with *fresh* produce, but we never found that in the US unfortunately. This little hotel was a breeze compared to other experiences in the US.
Rooms were spacious and bed very comfortable. Room was also very clean. Fridge and Microwave.
Not too far in an uber to the historic district. Parking there is tricky and expensive. Quite a long walk from the Inn so I recommend an Uber. Winn Dixie a couple of miles away and cvs across the road. A few eateries around the hotel but didn't try them.
The location was excellent. The staff was super friendly. The complimentary breakfast was more than adequate and the bonus complimentary drinks at their Tini Martini Bar were delicious! The free parking about a block and a half away was a rare and very welcome perk in the historic district of St. Augustine.
I booked a room at the Smart Stay Inn in Saint Augustine Florida, although it wasn't a bad place to stay the reviews were untrue. One review said it was right at the Beach which is completely false. The downtown Saint Augustine was at least 20 minutes away and not close to any sites we wanted to visit.
Comfort suites St. Augustine Historic District was the perfect place for our large group. All employees were extremely helpful and kind always with a smile. They even helped us arrange a shuttle for 12 people. The hotel was very clean as well with comfortable beds. We will definitely stay there again!
The hotel is the same as the photos shown. It was clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. We went with our puppy and I love that it is a pet friendly place.
Karina at the front desk, was amazing and super helpful welcomed us excellent. We will definitely come back here!
This was my third time staying in St. Augustine and this hotel has been the best one so far. The staff were very friendly. The room and bed was very comfortable, everything was very clean, and the breakfast was the best one I've ever had at any hote. All for just $100/night!
The staff was great, and the location was close to everything we needed. A great home base for exploring St. Augustine at a better price than most hotels in the area. Getting to the St. Augustine historic district is also quick.
Great little hotel. Walking distance to downtown Saint-Augustine. Staff was really nice and professional. Breakfast was of good value in very nice dining room overlooking the river. Room was very clean and well appointed.
We love the location, cleanliness and style of this inn. We have friends that stayed at a five star hotel in town that walked into our room and we’re blown away. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in St. Augustine.
The anemities exceeded those found at a regular hotel
Clean
Owner very engaging
Provided. fresh whole bean coffee and french press
King size bed and bedding very comfortable
Near downtown St. Augustine,
Every time we visit St. Augustine, we stay at the Castillo Inn. It's inexpensive and close to the historic district and attractions. It's a 'cheesy' old fashioned Florida motel and I absolutely love it!
It was a great location. Far enough from downtown to not hear everything but close enough to be there in 10 minutes. We couldn't hear the other visitors which is normally an issue in standard hotels.
The unit living area was well appointed. The grounds of the property are immaculate. In a safe area, but at least a 20-30 minute drive to downtown St. Augustine.
The property is only a few years old, location for visiting St Augustine and surrounding area is ideal. Has parking at the hotel and the beach is a 5 minute walk
