Host Information

Take a seat and enjoy the sound of nature and the serenity in your own private paradise overlooking the French Broad River. This house was built specifically for guests from multiple families or large groups. Spread out over 4 levels, each bedroom has a private bath and multiple configurations to suit individuals or couples. Relax in the privacy of a rooftop hot tub with million dollar views of the Biltmore Estate grounds and the mountains. Centrally located in the downtown River Arts district of Asheville, you can walk or bike to the local attractions while enjoying the natural beauty of the French Broad River basin.
My family travels occasionally and when we do, we tend todo so in a large group. We always book with Airbnb and invite our friends and family to join us. A few years ago we rented a very cool, mid-century modern pool home in Fort Lauderdale. The place was decorated on the minimal side and was totally spotless. There was a lot of room for our friends and family and we had an amazing trip. After that, I could not stop thinking about how to recreate the experience as a host in Asheville. I decided to stop building houses for sale and started designing them to keep. Now, life revolves around hosting our guests each week on a new street full of custom vacation rentals called Upstream Way.
The River Walk & Carrier Park offer lots of acreage for nature walks and exploring, and other exercise activities without leaving the community & park property. There are beautiful views of the river along the walking trails. Carrier Park offers a wealth of access and activities; including a rollerblade hockey rink, cycling track, softball fields, walking trails, running trails, a full kid’s playground, plus seasonal river options that include, kayaking, tubing and stand up paddle boarding! You are just minutes from America's favorite scenic byway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, motorcycle touring, biking, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, Segway tour…just about any outdoor activity! Or, take a quick ride to downtown Waynesville, or the 5 minute drive to downtown Asheville to enjoy the first-rate restaurants, shopping, galleries, spas, and entertainment.
