Over the past couple of years we have gained insight from our guests, friends, and family as to what exactly makes the cabin so special to them. We decided to list them for you! 1. Seclusion(1.5 miles up a gravel road gets you a very secluded escape from normal life! After all, isn’t that the point?:) 2. Quaint and Cozy(We have tried to honor the quaint and quirky nature of the cabin with the appropriate hand-made decor and minimal changes that we know you will enjoy!) 3. Peaceful Surroundings( It’s nature at it’s finest. Creeks, woods, birds, wildlife, flowering plants, and a cool mountain breeze even in the Summer) 4. Unique History(The history of this property adds to it’s one-of-a-kind nature. You will enjoy seeing the old pictures and story behind the cabin). 5. Overall Experience(My wife Sarah and I desire to stand out in providing an exceptional family vacation experience for our guests. Planning things to do an is a pain point for most groups so we provide a detailed webpage for our guests upon booking. My name is Brian Whitener. My wife Sarah and I love the mountains of Western NC! I also enjoy photography, biking, woodworking, and spending time with my lovely wife Sarah. Our passion is to see people experience a place of rest and rejuvenation from their busy everyday lives. My wife and I believe our cabin, this area, and the naturally beautiful surroundings of Bryson City provide such a place to reconnect with family and friends! We are excited to share the cabin with you and we know you will find it most relaxing! We also really enjoy assisting all of our guests experience the most fulfilling time possible while here. There are so many hiking trails, waterfalls, and things to do it can become overwhelming! Once you have booked with us and have reviewed our Area Information Page please feel free to ask us any questions about any of the excursions listed!

The cabin is located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains! You will feel very secluded but close enough to town if you need something. We have a very strict 10mph speed limit past the gate. Bryson City itself and the surrounding area is an outdoor adventurist's paradise. It has been named a top tourist destination in the United States and one of America's top small towns. My wife and I fell in love with this community when we visited a few years ago. Cherokee is also just a few miles up the road with many historic sites and a beautiful casino. Golfing, hiking, biking, kayaking, zip lines, tubing, rafting, relaxation, jeep tours, scenic rides, waterfalls, parks, fishing, boating and so much more are abundant here! Just be warned...people come here and never want to leave. It's why we are here and want to share it with everyone! Bryson City is a true small but has a number of shops, restaurants, craft breweries, and growing collection of art galleries.
