Welcome to the Guava Door! The Guava door is a stylish, fully renovated mid-century modern home. The property features concrete floors, custom walnut cabinets, comfy furnishings, and beautiful natural light. There is a patio off of the dining room for outdoor dining and the back yard is very large and fully fenced.
Soco Spaces are Austin's premier guest homes with ten beautiful rentals perfect for business travel, travel with family and friends, and temporary furnished housing. We've lived in Austin since 1999 and we've managed Soco Spaces since 2006. We enjoy traveling (as often as possible) and meeting the travelers that grace our vacation rentals. We don't live in this home - it is strictly a furnished rental that we love to keep warm and inviting for visitors to this fun city. We live close by and are available for questions and help with the home. We also provide an area guide with tips for restaurants, grocery stores, entertainment, and activities.
The house is located in the Travis Heights district. It’s a 15-minute walk to vibrant South Congress Avenue (aka SoCo)—filled with fantastic restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and music venues. The family-friendly Little Stacy Park and Big Stacy Pool are also in the neighborhood. There is free covered parking for one vehicle plus room for another vehicle behind it. There is also free street parking. When the weather is pleasant, enjoy walking through the beautiful, tree-lined, eclectic neighborhood. You will find tons of shops and restaurants and some music venues on lively South Congress Avenue - less than a mile away. From South Congress avenue, downtown Austin is just another mile north. You can also easily get over to the Rainey Street District, East Austin, Zilker Park, Bouldin - all within 3 miles. UT Austin is 3.2 miles north of the property. Austin has plenty of transportation options - Uber, Lyft, and Taxis. You also rent electric scooters and bikes. Check out Bird, Jump. and Lime Bike. Please do not leave scooters on the property or in the driveway. They must be left on the street curb.
