I am a music pastor at a local church. Music is my passion, but I also enjoy reading, photography, and film. My favorite authors are Owen Barfield, Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Soren Kierkegaard. A few of my favorite films are Persona, Magnolia, Silence, moonlight, and Synecdoche New York. I don't really watch TV, but my favorite shows are Breaking Bad, The Path, and True Detective. The musical artists I've been listening to are Father John Misty, Bon Iver, Sigur Ros, Fleet Foxes, Franz Schubert, John Tavner, and Gregorian Chant. In the area of food my passion is coffee. I love to experiment with new brewing methods and try new kinds of beans! I also enjoy Denver's amazing craft beer scene. Not sure if I have a life motto, but I'm passionate about life and feel that creativity is essential to being human.
