Sundance is a cute little town there is not many options in the way of restaurants or shopping there is one place for groceries and then there is about 2 or 3 little bars it is close to the bear lodge mountains and 90 So that was helpful it's also about 25 minutes away from keyhole state park which is beautiful as well it's a quiet town we felt safe overall 4 days was more than enough time for what we wanted

This area is so beautiful, the weather was perfect, but it was late May so it wasn't 100 below, lol. Great location for access to Devil's Tower, Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Needles Highway, etc. Sundance is a great little town, everyone was super friendly!!

Sundance was a small, welcoming little town.
Sundance was a small, welcoming little town. I visited their local museum and found it full of many fascinating stories and things from the past, I highly recommend it! I loved my experience there and hope to return very soon!

Nice small town.
Nice small town. Easily accessible from I-80, a great spot to stay between Devil's Tower and Spearfish. Food options are good: The pizza shop near entrance of Bear Lodge Mtn. Resort has great service, fast, good pizza and a variety of beverages. Downtown has a few options too, we ate at the restaurant next to the Harley-Davidson shop - food was good, service was excellent.
The rooms are small cabins, with small kitchenettes. The view from the porch is gorgeous at dawn. The bathroom had soap, shampoo, conditioner dispensers rather than small travel/hotel versions - very convenient in my opinion. Many hotel beds are VERY soft. These were more traditional spring mattresses - a huge win, says my back!
Location in downtown Sundance was just fine...especially since I could walk to the convenience store for my morning coffee. (No in room coffee or even in motel coffee available on site.) The refrigerator was very cold which I appreciated. The air conditioner cooled the room down nicely. It was a clean room, if basic,
Vintage small motel in a very small town but near Devil's Tower. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room is 60's-ish with some upgrades. Overall comfortable as expected. Parking in the inner courtyard is tight but doable. Nice restaurants nearby.
Sundance is a sleepy town but the location was good for exploring both Devil’s Tower and biking in Spearfish Canyon. the cabin had all of the essentials. Very peaceful.
The room was conveniently located near Devils Tower. The staff is all very friendly and though the hotel was very old, It is well kept and clean. We would stay again.
