I've already reviewed Dunsmuir but you need to make sure your information on your website is more honest about the check-in process at the diner next door. It's fine if you get someone nice but we had grumpy and nice...very grumpy.
Just saying it is 24 hr check in is not enough.

Dunsmuir is a charming city nestled in deep a valley of trees below the towering Shasta mountain. The people of Dunsmuir are some of the nicest folks in the country and know how to brew some delicious beer as well as cook up some delicious cuisine.

An off-freeway, town that supports the Lake Shasta tourism and visitors. The locals are friendly and Dunsmuir is quiet and beautiful. I found it to be central of location for great outdoor fun. The hiking, water play in mountain rivers, and lakes, so much to see and do! Dunsmuir is the place to go back to stay, rest, refresh, and do it again the next day.

The quaint Amtrak station and the brilliant Cafe Maddalena next to it are must visits. The entire town feels like the clock stopped there from the 20's or 30's. Must check out the theatre, shops and walk around town. Friendly locals who can readily guide and give you suggestions. Easy distance from Mt. Shasta.

Lovely botanical gardens and city park with playground (and bathrooms) is well worth a visit. We walked there while charging our electric car, then had lunch at the highly reviewed Yaks Cafe.
The gardens are an interesting mix of native plants, rhododendrons and other interesting collections. Trails go to the river. It feels like a bit of heaven and makes for a quiet restful stop if you just need to get off the I-5 freeway for an hour. Highly recommended.

Many things to do with kids in nature; botanical gardens, playgrounds, parks and hiking trails with waterfalls.
Be sure to check before hiking to waterfalls because some trails are very close to active railroad tracks.
Nice, decent place to stop on our way to stay at Mt. Shasta. It seems to be an older motel style accommodation that has been upgraded. Some nice touches include a solid wood bed with a comfortable mattress. This is a pretty little mountain town; the manager recommended the bakery right opposite the Amtrak station for breakfast, which turned out to be the nicest little place. I'd absolutely go back to Dunsmuir.
All things considered, I would recommend this hotel for any travelers.
The Dunsmuir Inn & Suites is conveniently located near the I-5 exit but it doesn't feel like it because the little town of Dunsmuir's surroundings are well forested. After a lot of searching, this inn provided the best value in the area. The woman who checked us in were very gracious. The updates have been reasonable, and our room was very clean. One can tell that the owners are attentive to the property.
Charming motel was comfortable, clean and in a terrific location - easy access to the I-5 but far enough away to be very quiet. Lovely treed view with a hillside of wild flowers. Manager very pleasant, provided us with some of Dunsmuir's history. Would like to have had time to visit the town, definitely would stay at the Lodge again.
The Cedar Lodge Motel is very conveniently located in Dunsmuir and a short drive to the center of town. Given its location with respect to Interstate 5 freeway, the environment around the motel was very quiet. The room was quite comfortable with the ac unit keeping the room cool during the day.
Straight forward motel experience. Friendly greeting from staff. I came in after midnight and checked in by way of this very cool diner. Don't pass up the chance to fill up your water jugs from the tap! Dunsmuir has some of the best water in the world.
Good location and i tend to like older vintage hotels when i'm in the mountains. very quiet and a great view of the surrounding mountains. easy freeway access and very close to a pretty good 24 hour convenience store.
They were so nice at check in, and nice to hold onto a special pillow that my husband forgot in the room on Friday, but still had it safe for us on Monday on our way home. Nice hotel in a wooded setting.
Check in was smooth and we were given good advice to find dinner before checking into room. Traveling early in the week limits eating options in Dunsmuir but had an excellent pizza.
Absolutely everything. One of the nicest Hotels I have stayed at in a very long time. Luxurious, yet cozy and super comfortable. There are even heated tile floors in the bathroom.
Clean and basic, the owner was polite and helpful, nice family-owned business. Convenient to freeway and easy drive to Mt Shasta. We asked for more coffee and they provided more.
Location is great - right in downtown Dunsmuir. One block from our favorite restaurant. Nicely restored older building. Rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable.
Lovely spot on the river with all the amenities you need. excellent location with just a short walk to downtown Dunsmuir and some local restaurants/bars.
