Free snacks upon arrival, as I had a two hour plane delay on the runway with very little food/drinks. Also the information about restaurants open late was great (Applebee's). Also liked the great selection of foods for breakfast. Plus the information on the City Forest. I spent about 2 to 3 hours at the Orono Bog!

Just a clean, secure, comfortable place to stay. Good value for money. The motel owner runs the front desk himself a lot of the time and is clearly interested in making the visitor comfortable. If you don't have something in your room, just ask at the front desk. Many motels in this price range are dingy. This one was spotless.

Quiet college town. Great breakfast places but ow on restaurants. Lots of breweries if that your mojo. Most of the breweries served food as well. Bangor however is close by and is flush with choices of places to eat.

University Inn was a great place to stay after arriving in...
University Inn was a great place to stay after arriving in Bangor. The staff was welcoming and room was clean and nice. There was wine and cheese in the lobby when we arrived around 6pm so that was a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Half of the rooms have the river view and direct access to the pool and to a tiny beautiful park with gazebo. The other half of the rooms face the parking lot but we got the first floor room on the river side and enjoyed it greatly. Helpful staff, very clean room with the fridge, microwave and coffee machine, in other words, everything that you may need for a short (or long) break on the road.IreneUnited States of America

Our only issue was that the floor above us was very noisy because of the hardwood floor. The guests above us seemed to be pacing late into evening and actually woke us up from sleep! I nearly resorted to alerting the staff to address the noise, but thankfully it subsided. The staff was so friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again..
