North Haven purchased the RV and Cabins side of The Log Inn in November of 2022. Although this property has been in business for many years, this is the first time it has been separated from the motel next door. The new owners relocated from Hawaii, where they previously owned and operated a property management business with over 40 beachfront luxury condos. They are taking the knowledge they have in the vacation rental industry where they previously managed properties in Hawaii, Utah and Montana; and applying it to the RV and campground business.

North Haven Campground is open year-round and features 5 cabins and 21 RV sites, guest bathhouse, laundry facilities and The Outpost campstore. The cabins come in 1 and 2 bedroom sizes with full kitchen, living room and bathroom. Conestoga glamping wagons will be added summer of 2023 as will as glamping Tipis.

North Haven Campground is next door to The Log Inn motel and is in the area known as "3-mile," which is 3 miles north of the town of Bonners Ferry. The campground is surrounded by trees and there is a 3/4 mile nature walking trail that goes around both North Haven and the Log Inn. We are located just a couple miles from the Kootenai River and kayaks and paddle boards can be rented at Far North in town. Other outdoor activities include ATV riding, fishing, hunting, horseback riding and hiking. There are some great water fall trails in the area which include Myrtle Falls, Snow Creek Falls and Kootenai Falls.
