I love the small town feel with so much to do.
I love the small town feel with so much to do. Be careful where you stay. There are some good deals on hotels, but, check the reviews before you book your room. There are so many beaches that you have good access to. We are motorcycle riders. There is a really cool bar on the beach called Woody's. Great views, friendly bar tenders. We ate at Doc Holiday's. Love it here. Have stayed several times. I love to stay on the Seawall close to the beach. Galveston is a beautiful city with wonderful old architecture and lots of shops and restaurants to satisfy every one.

If you are staying at the hotel, wait until check-in to buy passes for attractions. Paid parking is not really worth it. Free Parking lot is literally a few steps away. Going to Galveston and getting to hit the Seawall/The Strand is a delight, matters what the weather is doing. Always a fun place to gather, get sand in your toes, eat, and have good fun on the beach, or on Pleasure Pier, , and eating, and a little shopping!

Door to room appear to have a metal plate like it had been once broken. Room had no baseboards. One trash can no phone. Floors new however when u walk km them felt so dirty. The staff was generally friendly, the free breakfast was fine and the room was very comfortable. It was away from the beach but within a short walk. There were numerous restaurants close by so over all a relaxing stay and I would choose this hotel again.
