The location was absolutely perfect, and the cottage was adorable. When they say they're right by many hiking trails, they aren't exaggerating. The trail heads are all right there.
The kitchen was the best stocked with equipment of any vacation property I've stayed at. We also enjoyed the restaurant on-site. Delicious food, beautiful views.

It was good. I only had toast and a banana the 1st morning and a full breakfast the 2nd morning. The waitress from Missippi was great.

This was a great property with an incredibly friendly staff. The property is a little older, but it was extremely clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again over a chain hotel.
Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Boulder, Basecamp Hotel, is walking distance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and Naropa University.

Very efficient check-in and check-out, super friendly, large room.
so many things to do and we enjoyed Pearl Street. Other sites such as Estes Park close by and other cities in the mountains. People very friendly, and lots of places to walk. I felt safe and happy being there.

Traffic can be a headache during peak hours so we would recommend traveling in the off peak times to sightsee etc. It's definitely not the midwest, people seemed snobby or rude most places and looked at me funny when I said excuse me if I walked by anyone in a tight area. No-one else excused themselves or tried to avoid colliding down the busy morning sidewalks downtown or in shops/restaurants. My adult daughter stated it's because we are from the midwest & people do things diff here.

Great place to visit...location is great for area, price is inflated for a Hilton and for location! This hotel is squeezed between another hotel and a strip plaza. Stay closer to Pearl St for better food and better location. The a/c unit in this place is very noisy. I found this to be an average hotel for the prce and skipped out on the burgers and nachos on the menu, surrounding area has much better food with cheaper prices. Also there is a charge to park a car there that most hotels don't have.

We came into town for a football game.
We came into town for a football game. CU has the most hostile and aggressive fans that we have ever encountered. We travel to a lot of college games and were warned by a number of friends and locals about this beforehand but were definitely not prepared for the vicious and obnoxious behavior exhibited by students and adults. It took away from the experience at this fabulous stadium.
Lots of restaurants and hiking trails but definitely not the friendliest city that we have every visited, though Flatiron coffee shop is amazing.

Boulder is the perfect destination for an outdoor visit.
Boulder is the perfect destination for an outdoor visit. Hiking everywhere, bike trails everywhere! Pearl Street offers shopping and food. There was even a mile run downtown when we visited! Try Audrey's Pizza Garage and Sweet Cow for ice cream. If you hike, use the fee park and ride shuttle bc trailhead parking is tough.
I stayed at the hotel for 4 days to photograph a CU Football game. Everything about this hotel is outstanding. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. The room was clean, and contained everything you would expect from a great hotel. I had a great view of the city and mountains. The hotel environment was super quiet and close to everything you might want to do in Boulder. On game day, the staff told me of a path to take to walk to Folsom field, saving some time. I plan on staying at this terrific hotel in future visits to Boulder!
The rooms are large and very well laid out for maximum comfort. The gym was excellent, I had everything I needed. The location of hotel is walking distance to a lot of shopping and restaurants and bars. The restaurants right next door called The Roadhouse Depot is open late and the food is very good. I always stay here when I come to Boulder. The outdoor tables for breakfast are wonderful.
Everything about this place was amazing. The location, the staff, the comfort of the room, the beauty of the location, the parking, the free coffee (I didn’t eat the breakfast as I was eating at Boulder restaurants) everything was spot on! I would (and already have) highly recommend this place when staying in Boulder! Best hotel of my road trip by far!!!
The location was ideal.
The room was spacious and bed comfortable.
Breakfast was eclectic and all personal preferences were kindly met.
The personal attention given by the staff was impressive and appreciated.
The large lounge area was a big plus, particularly the snug seating in the library area.
Computer and printing availability was useful.
Nice location in a 10-min drive from Boulder with pretty lighting outside. There are no restaurants around, so you have to drive to Boulder, but there are plenty there. There’s a small kitchen and dining area in the room. The bath is a bit outdated but hot water is running perfectly.
Amazing location, walking distance to downtown and right next to the mountains and hiking trails. Very comfortable rooms, the wood cabins are great. Breakfast was simple but a good selection and there was always hot coffee available. One of my favourite stays so far in the US.
Room is very spacious -- has a full kitchen which could be value for others. Forgot the 2nd fl rooms are walk-up -- could use better signage which stairs to use. Breakfast was exceptional. Prices still were high but in line with other hotels in Boulder.
Loved the pool, was warm and had it to ourselves. Laundry cheap and quick wash available this was really handy. Bed was comfortable and room was large. Complimentary breakfast was nice as we were not expecting this.
Extreme helpful staff on reception. Parking close by. Excellent breakfast one of the best of our 3 week trip. Just over an hour away from Denver Airport so convenient start to our trip. Roomy bedroom and bathroom
Great location, super easy to walk to Pearl St from. Loved the lounge area and fire pits in the evening. Hot tub and sauna was a great addition after a day of skiing and hiking. Would certainly recommend.
amazing location, walking distance to main entertainment areas of boulder. Amazing value compared to other hotels near. staff were very helpful and very happy to help answer any questions
It is one of the only hotels in Boulder with an outdoor pool and a hot tub, close to campus with comfy beds, clean rooms, convenient parking, accommodating staff and good breakfast!
Hotel is older and located in an office park, but it's only two miles from University and downtown and it's remarkably clean and quiet. Staff was excellent. I was impressed.
It's in a perfect location - right downtown near all the shops on Pearl Street. The old hotel is beautiful and there's a cool "speakeasy" bar in the basement.
