Detroit is becoming a revitalized city with many great restaurants, sporting venues and entertainment venues. Very walkable and increased transit system would make this the perfect city to visit. It's so good to see the re-birth of the buildings and the businesses making this a city vibrant and attracting more visitors each year.

Detroit is a beautiful place to visit.
Detroit is a beautiful place to visit. Most people are relatively friendly. I had no problems, other than the place that I stayed. They had mice and it was a dead mouse in the sink on the second day. The person managing the property came in while I wasn't there. I couldn't cook my Thanksgiving dinner because there was no dining table. So my family had to eat with our plates in our laps. I was told to give a good review and they would give me back half of my money. They lied! I have text messages and pictures.

Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be.
Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be. There is a lot to do around the city. With the Q-line and the people mover being a mode of free transportation, it is much easier to get around if you can park just outside of the downtown area

Location is ideally located to restaurants and parking facilities. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk from Ford Field and Comerica Park. The room is complete with laundry machines and an ironing board, a fully stocked bathroom and kitchen, a TV with streaming services, a mirror, comfy bed and a window with a city view. All for a reasonable price for a 3 night stay. Cleanliness was second to none. Took advantage of the hotel’s partnership with a nearby parking garage. Will definitely be back to Detroit and I’d like to stay here again.
Amazing historic city club beautifully preserved, restored and maintained. Luxury suite corner suite with porch was spotless with amazing linens and comfortable bed.
Our bartender in The Library amazing cocktail artist. Very cool and hospitable. Door guy made certain we had coffee and anything we needed in the morning. Continental breakfast was plentiful, with fresh options and mini quiches.
Ideal couple getaway or girlfriend weekend. I will be back soon.
Also room was a steal when compared to other boutique hotels downtown.
The location. Close to Ford Field and Comerica Park (15 minutes walk) Safe area and no homeless on the streets in the area. Plenty of traffic in the evening to feel more than safe on a walk home. (Yet not at all disturbing inside the room I had) Yes, the room have its flaws if you have hotel like expectations and it do have a slight smell of smoke from the inside but nothing major. But it is a pretty cheap motel in close proximity to Downtown Detroit. Nearly half the price of the cheapest alternatives in the area
The host, Frontdesk, sent clear, easy-to-follow instructions in different formats. They also conviently re-sent, just before check-out time, the code to open the box for leaving the keys.
It is very nice to have a full apartment rather than just a hotel room. My wife and I especially like having a table and chairs to work on together rather than a small desk with only a single chair as provided by typical hotel rooms.
And the location was great; it was central to much of what we wanted to see in Detroit.
This is a great value hotel. Very safe and within walking distance to most Downtown points of interest.
They also have bicycles you can borrow for free.
If you are looking for clean, reasonable, this is the place.
If you are looking for elegance you would be better served at one of the big hotels downtown.
Staff is super attentive and always available.
The manager is extremely visible and is on top of his game.
They know the city inside and out.
Detroit is on the up swing. Had a fantastic stay.
Love that the detroit people mover is connected to the gm Ren Cen. pretty much a 5 minute ride to anywhere downtown right from the hotel. room was very clean and room service was very quick to accommodate. man at the front desk was very helpful.
The hotel is centrally located. It is easily within walking distance of the arena and other entertainment. The room was clean and well stocked. The hotel has a very cozy feel about it. I plan to stay there again the next time I visit Detroit.
Awesome unique stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful and this location is walking distance from the Detroit Institute of Arts and their Science Centre (amongst other things). They also have a free shuttle service to take you downtown
Excellent hotel the suites are top class
Location ideal to explore the area free shuttle within 5 miles radius
Staff extremely helpful especially Andre a local and the driver
Highly recommend when stay in Detroit
Great hotel, ideal location and really friendly staff who went out of their way to help me get parking figured out after I showed up a bit early. Appreciate that breakfast runs unto 10:30. Beautiful property.
The room was very clean and comfortable and the double security was reassuring for our first stay in downtown Detroit. Also within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and Comerica Park.
A generous and beautifully furnished apartment in Downtown Detroit with walking distance to everything. The apartment was quiet and secure with a very comfortable bed and large windows
There’s nicer hotels that cost less. Don’t get the luxury package because clearly the only thing luxury is the price you pay for a basic room. Not worth it!
