Spacious and centrally located. This historical colonial apartment home will have you imagining what it was like living over a hundred years ago. Many of the original details, including the coffered ceilings, wood floor, and fireplace surround are gleaming with character. Tall ceilings bring you into the fully renovated kitchen with modern appliances and conveniences. There are two private points of entry one in the front and one in the rear closer to the private parking in the back. Guest access You will have full access in the apartment; there are no locked doors or cabinets. Other things to note The apartment is part of an 8-unit apartment building, although this unit does have its private entrance in front. Even though the ceilings are really high (10'), it is a 115-year-old building, so you will likely hear some footsteps from the apartments above from time to time. Memphis, Tennessee, United States Walk out the front door and 100 yards down the street brings you to a bustling corner with a jazz restaurant, Moroccan and Mexican restaurants and, of course, a delicious BBQ joint. Keep walking or take a short uber another .75 miles to Overton square, one of Memphis' most happening areas with a host of other restaurants and bars. Head downtown the other direction in a short uber and you'll find yourself engulfed in Memphis' blues scene on the famous Beale street. In addition to the many great eateries (which you'll find in the guidebook i'll send you) there are several parks nearby and places to relax. Getting around Uber or Lyft are readily available and definitely the best option. There is a trolley that runs down Madison and will bring you to downtown if you want a little more of a historic experience heading downtown.
