A bed and breakfast in a lovely, old historic home and as it's name implies, overlooking the sea. Very gracious hostess. Beautiful garden setting. The room was perfect. Wonderful breakfast in a beautiful sun room setting. Very quiet, peaceful location. The hostess was helpful in directing us to places to see and to eat.
Featuring views of Mount Batie, the Camden harbor and Penobscot Bay, this Camden hotel offers a breakfast. Natalie’s, the on-site restaurant, is widely known for its gourmet French cuisine.

Breakfast was homemade and started with Lobster how could it be better. Also hosts were very accommodating when asked to modify breakfast. Breakfast area was lovely did not want to leave!
Great little place. Nice if it would have been in walking distance of Camden but nonetheless a sweet, uncrowded place to hang our hats for a couple nights. Mount Battie was an excellent hike for us. We adored the Lincolnville Center General Store and glad that we could soak up that atmosphere and eat the delectables from there.

We had a great time.
We had a great time. Staying mid-week, was a tad challenging as finding open restaurants wasn't easy, but we enjoyed it all. Great hiking around Camden State Park. Beautiful coast and enjoyed the quaint town of Camden, just next door

Good hiking nearby in addition to being right on the ocean.
Good hiking nearby in addition to being right on the ocean. Great trails at Camden Hills State park. Great mountaintop views. The towns nearby--like Camden, Belfast and Rockland--were fun to explore. Not a lot to do but fun to walk around and see all the boats.

The town beach(es) are super clean and accessible. Proximity to Camden and other area attractions are very convenient. While Lincolnville is small, it had all the necessary amenities for a weekend on the beach.

Lincolnville is a very small village, not a lot of action there, but a nice little beach. But if you are looking for a peaceful get-a-way where your hotel is not next to a major highway or in a busy city, the Spouter Inn in Lincolnville is the place to go. If you are looking for nightlife, it's only a short drive away.
Fantastic B&B located directly opposite Lincolnville Beach. Marc and Linda are superb hosts and could not be more welcoming, offering advice on places to visit as well as delivering delicious breakfasts. There is an honesty bar in the property and two great Lobster Shacks to eat at within a stones through. It's a must stay for anyone doing a New England road trip and we cannot recommend more highly.
Wonderful stay! Room was charming and comfortable. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when I had unexpected car trouble. Location is great for Camden Hills State Park, Lincolnville, and Camden. Also easy drive to the blues fest in Rockland. Great coffee shops and markets down the road and waterfront restaurants nearby in Lincolnville. Looking forward to returning again.
Everything about Sprouter Inn was exceptional - location, facilities, superb breakfasts, congeniality, accommodations, you name it. Linda and Mark are excellent and congenial hosts. They have exceeded hospitality standards in every way. At the conclusion of our five night stay we felt like family. Do yourself a favor and book some time with them!
Pine Grove Cottages are a great place to stay. Very clean and Innkeepers are very friendly and knowledgeable about local sites. We stayed a week to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Were able to take day trips to many local areas like Boothbay and Bar Harbor. Very close to Camden, which is a favorite of ours. Highly recommend!
It was nicely removed from the main road. The owners invited me to join them for a night "in town" at a Lincolnville pub (where he was performing). What a great way to experience some local color! Being on my own, I appreciate them reaching out
The view from the balcony was great and there was a convenient pizza / sandwich shop next door. The beach was directly across the street and was very convenient. Parking for the beach was also very easy and free for 4 hours.
Location is superb. It is just few minutes away from Camden State park and right on Lincolnville beach. We even could see the ocean and sunrise directly from our room. Room was very clean and had everything you might need.
We loved every moment we spent in the Inn at ocean edge the location is stunning, facilities are great and breakfast is nom traditional and excellent . Everything we needed for the perfect weekend getaway
The driving convenience to most locations Mid Coast ME. And above all,
the hospitality and concern, in every way, that the hosts bring to everyone staying at their Inn.
