Although it is a little bit farther than the activities we want to do, the location is right near the airport and the rooms are really spacious and clean. That makes the little extra driving worthwhile to us. The restaurants are very good. We ate only one meal there--dinner in the Diamond Cafe--and it was excellent as was the service. The wait staff are all very pleasant and nice. The room coffee is also good.

If I get treated right, I will have a positive opinion. If I dont get my 100 cash back, that is another story then isn't it? Did you disclose the $100 cash deposit on your site? Did they let me leave knowing they still had my deposit? Probably so, huh?

Beautiful country.
Beautiful country. I enjoyed riding thru the mountains and desert on horses and side by sides! Hiking is also great. I took a hot air balloon ride over mountains and desert country and it was awesome! It was easy to drive around in this big city because the people are courteous. I visited a camera shop and needed them to ship something and they couldn't do it. But one of their customers said they could do it. So helped me out greatly! This town has great places to eat - I stayed at a Ramada with Guadalajara Mexican Grill beside it and the food was exceptional there. They even make your salsa right in front of you. The stay was great- just too short!

Tucson is a large city in southeast AZ. There are many attractions in and around the city. We particularly liked the many hiking trails, the 2 Botanical Gardens, and the Desert Museum. Wonderful weather for hiking and birding! You need to have a car to get to the attractions.

Tuscon is beautiful with lots of fun stuff to do and see.
Tuscon is beautiful with lots of fun stuff to do and see. We were not there long enough to see and do everything we wanted. But enjoyed our stay. The hotel was great. We went to the air and space museum. It takes quite some time, but has a lot to see. Also went to a market, loved that. Really cool. They also have the largest gem show once a year, usually in February. Missed it. Want to do that. Beautiful mountains to explore. Great food too.

Pool and hot tub were great. Room was spectacular.
Pool and hot tub were great. Room was spectacular. Could have used more towels to start off with. Only provided three and we had 4 guests. Plus our dog. She liked the sausage and all the parking lot smells.
Was perfect for what I needed, a place to sleep for the night. I flew into Tucson in the evening and was able to walk from the airport to the hotel in about 10 min along a sidewalk. Check-in was quick and easy and my room had everything I needed (bed, desk, etc). The hotel was really accommodating and helped me organize a slightly late check out and let me store my bag for a bit while I went to pick up my rental car. Breakfast was fine in the morning, typical hotel continental breakfast and totally sufficient with waffles, bagels, etc.
The hotel was cute and a great location just outside the downtown with great views. The salt water pool and hot tub were great and the staff was very friendly. We had a little appetizer at the Gringo restaurant one night and it was nice to have a free drink. We ordered two more they were so good! make sure to order the Prickly Pear margarita! The bar tender was cool and nice to chat with. The rooms could use a little upgrade but that didn’t matter really. Cozy beds and the gardens were nice. We had a balcony room with a nice view.
The property was downtown and close to the arena. Centrally located and the parking garage seemed secure and very convenient. It was unexpected but very much appreciated. Breakfast was really good but they could use a couple more waffle makers. Only two and the hotel seemed pretty full so there was a wait to make waffles. The room was clean and very comfortable but the hallways needed some attention. Overall this hotel was a pleasant stay for a weekend in Tucson. We would stay there again. We actually stayed two nights.
Breakfast was excellent although not included in the base hotel price. We stayed in the older part of the resort in a room featuring 1920s Spanish architecture and furnishings which we liked a lot but maybe other guests would not. Dinner was also excellent but did require reservations.. Made use of their warm water pool even though temperatures were in the 60s and low 70s. The grounds were lovely rife with the local vegetation including the giant Surgaro cactus.
The staff was generally friendly and helpful.
Pat is a French chef who knows her way around the kitchen. Our mornings were spent outside in Pat’s beautiful garden with some of the best breakfast’s I have ever had. Thank you Pat for making our stay in Tuscon memorable. We had the king bedroom. It has a sitting area and a perfectly sized bathroom with a private entrance. Downtown Tucson is 6 miles away which was not a problem since we had a rented car. We enjoyed our stay at Pats B&B very much.
A very nice historic (boutique) hotel in downtown Tucson. Kept very clean. Very nice cafe "Cup Cafe" with indoor/outdoor seating. Beds very comfortable. As website mentions however, rooms are noisy from early evening up until 2am, as they are above tavern and music venues. For us, noise was not an issue. We were up past 2am both nights of our stay, in celebration of a new UofA Graduate (our son). By day, hotel and room was calm.
Very close to old downtown and the mineral show! Tucson is a strange town, with many surprises, ugly buildings mixed in with gems. The outside appearance of this facility hides the comfortable rooms, fantastic management which shows in everyone diligently doing their job, front desk, cleaning staff, property maintenance workers!
We love the place, it's gorgeous and makes you want to just stay indoor or in the patio next to the pool, but the location is equally great, being just a couple walking minutes to the main Downtown locations you might want to check. The owners were amazing and we had nice time in Tucson, totally recommended!
Everything. This is our 2nd year staying at Starr Pass. It is an exceptional value, The condo is excellently equipped, the grounds are beautiful, the location is excellent for taking advantage of things to do in and around Tucson. Looking forward to returning next year.
It's been my second time here, and it's really the best place to stay at in Tucson for your money. The breakfast is very good, the pool is nice (even though it could have been cleaned during the day); beds are comfortable. Welcoming staff, too.
Everything was amazing, such a beautiful place, staff was great and it was so peaceful. All you can eat breakfast was great,so much food. Hotel grounds and pool and spa were great, pool was a little cold but it also wasn't 118 in Tucson.
The front desk staff was great. They were friendly and professional, both the lady who checked us in when we arrived in the evening, and the young man who checked us out the next morning. Their level of service is above this hotel.
I was 6 nights at this hotel as I completed shopping before heading back to Mexico. The rooms have been updated and my room with two beds was very comfortable. I've stayed at this hotel before and I will again when I visit Tucson.
The hotel is nice and very well located. Some rooms are getting renovated, so that's a good thing. The staff is helpful and very polite! The rooms are spacious and we loved the spa/jacuzzi! Will definitely stay here again.
Love the historical vibe of the hotel. Staff was great. Cafe in the hotel was outstanding!! Great location in downtown Tucson. Easy overnight parking across the street from the hotel.
Close location to the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall and other downtown locations. Breakfast is good and the price is very reasonable compared to other downtown hotels.
