The house is in a residential subdivision that was built in the 1950s. It’s set among 3/4 acres that border a tree-lined lot, giving the feeling of being in the forest in the middle of the city. Historic Main Street in Tucker is 1 mile away and hosts many restaurants and quaint shops. Stone Mountain, Atlanta's favorite theme park, with attractions, hiking, and shows is just 7 miles away. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat Shorty's Wood Fire Pizza is just around the corner.

The greatest thing that I can afford my children is to experience first hand our national parks and historical sites. We have rented homes throughout the United States. One of our recent trips included Williams AZ just of old route 66, we discovered the steep cliffs of the Grand Canyon, gazed over the impact site of the meteor crater, found ruins along two gun road and enjoyed the local airman and rock museum then drove the 273-mile trek through the tribal lands of Arizona into Zion National Park to view the spectacular rock formations and hike the narrows. When we travel we prefer to stay in homes or cottages large enough to accommodate our families size that offers a full kitchen. We have six children, one in college who gets the opportunity to travel with us occasionally, one in high school, two in middle school, and two in elementary school.
