Just steps away (literally, not like those others that are actually blocks away!) from numerous restaurants, bars, & shops! This 1905 historic triplex building is brand new from the studs out and ready to give you the relaxing home-away-from-home you are dreaming of for your Lousiville visit! Colorful and spacious two bedroom upstairs apartment in a triplex building steps from all the Highlands has to offer. The main bedroom features a king bed and fun Derby photo wall to capture those memories! The second bedroom a queen bunkbed and for the living room, a comfortable double high queen sized air mattress as well as a plush 5’ x 10’ oversized couch. Complete with a multi-cade game machine, various board games, and Alexa Echo for those nights in. The kitchen is stocked with the tools you’ll need to make a home cooked meal away from home. The bathroom is stocked with shower necessities, a hair dryer, curling iron, and straightener- just in case. Washer and dryer in unit, with laundry supplies under the vanity. Smart TV or TV with Firestick in all rooms, personal login required for streaming services. Only the number of guests stated in your reservation are allowed to stay at the property. If you exceed the number of guests you book for, there will be a one hundred dollar fine per person per night. If you are bringing your fur child, there is an additional one hundred dollar pet fee, per dog. Max 2 dogs. Please be sure to ask host about the pet rules.

Grab some tacos and margaritas from Bakersfield, American favorites from Ditto's, have a beer at Highlands Tap Room, shop trendy styles at Urban Outfitters, chow down on Cajun from J.Gumbo's or Korean BBQ from GOGi 1055, sip a stiff cocktail from Neat, dance the night away at Nowhere Bar, or many other options- and that's only within the first 600 feet out your door! Being so close to everything, the house is located on a busy street with a lot of people passing by. You will likely hear some of the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood throughout your stay in the unit and may come across some locals on your walks to tour the town. Free street parking. 2 car driveway shared between 2 units is first come first serve- please do not park behind another car in the driveway unless it belongs to someone in your party! On weekends in the late afternoon/evenings street parking may sometimes be full right outside the building. However, there is ample street parking around the block. While you are not supposed to, my family and I parked for a year with no issues in the triangle marked area by the telephone pole and dumpster (we are not responsible if you get towed) 12 minutes from the airport. 7 minutes from downtown attractions and most Hospitals. 13 minutes from Churchill Downs. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are also readily available to take you to further away destinations. There is also a city bus stop out front, although Lyft and Uber are recommended.
